My F7A on the steaming bay.

(The side panels are real stainless steel as are the fargo grills.  It was all hand painted by yours truly. The Santa Fe name and nose herald are vinyl decals.  It has lighted number boards and classification lights that can show all three colors; white, red or green when illuminated).

Here's my Engine Stand.

(This engine stand was adapted from a design
by Chuck Hackett. Click here to see additional
pictures of my engine stand construction. Links
to Chuck engine stand can be found there also.
This picture shows the new modified engine
stand.  I have moved the wheels further out to
add bit more stability.

Me and my F7 at LALS
Spring Meet 2004.

Here's F7B dummy unit
under construction.

(I made 24 individual stainless
steel panels for it as it will be a
matching Sante Fe for my F7A).

Here's some crossings I made to save wear and tear walking across my track.

(The lumber is old pallet oak and screwed down to the ties with drywall screws).

Here's how hot the rail gets here!

(This picture was taken in July 2005.  The
ambient temperature was about 118°F.
The rail temperature is reading 145.1°F).
