I am a retired Telecommunications Engineer. My wife Pat and I both enjoy RV'ing and local desert exploration. But my real passion is trains. I have a private ride on model railroad in 1" scale and a small machine shop. But I don't claim to be a machinist by any means. I am also in Gauge 1 live steam and have a battery powered 0-4-0 Switcher that has wheels for both 4 3/4" and 7 1/2" gauge. But the 1" railroad gets most of my attention.
